Loudoun County Health Department: There have been a number of COVID-19 “hot spots” emerging at popular beach destinations in our region. Parents of teens participating in senior beach week or other group gatherings should be particularly aware of the necessary precautions. LCHD has seen many youths participating in beach week at Myrtle beach testing positive for COVID 19
Please know our office is taking great care during this time to ensure your families safety. The office is screening all well visits and doing temperature checks on parents and patients, as well as asking that only one parent come to your child’s visit. All patients above 2 years old, and parents must wear a face covering when coming into the office. In addition, appointments have been staggered to encourage social distancing. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children remain current on their vaccinations during the pandemic. We are scheduling well visits.
Effective immediately: Ashburn Pediatrics is temporarily suspending ALL walk in visits to help slow the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Please call our office at 703-729-7652 to make your sick or well appointments.
